Creamy Chocolate Frosting Not everyone loves the deep, rich flavor of ganache or of a dark chocolate frosting. (Click here for my Chocolate Ganache recipe.) This recipe is for those of you who prefer a milder chocolate flavor. It is smooth and light in texture, with a soft chocolate flavor. Quite yummy. 2-1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar Place the sugar, butter, melted chocolate and vanilla in a mixing bowl and beat on medium high speed for about 5 minutes, until smooth and evenly blended. Add 2 tablespoons of the milk or light cream and beat again for about 30 seconds, until the mixture is fluffy. Add the additional tablespoon of milk or cream if the frosting is too stiff, and beat again for 30 seconds. (To print the recipe, right-click the window and select PRINT) |
